Prior to attending tryouts, each player must be registered on the Greater Napanee Basketball Association’s TeamSnap and pay a minimal tryout fee.

We will hold tryouts for all ages if we have coaches.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to fill a number of coaching positions for us this season!

Thank you for your interest! We look forward to receiving your application and will strive to get back to you within 5 days of the application deadline. 

Our teams practice 2x a week and compete in OBL and/or EOBA league as well as Ontario Cup final tournament. Additional tournaments and exhibition games are also arranged by teams if funding allows.

 

Please fill-out the following form to complete your application. There are coaching courses required for teams to compete in Ontario Cup. All GNBA coaches are expected to complete these steps before the end of 2025. New coaches must provide a current (within 6 months) VSC before tryouts begin. Let us know ASAP if you need a volunteer letter for this.

Team Fees & Payment

Team fees range from $650 to $750, depending on the age group. Full payment is required within two weeks of accepting an offer to join a team. Payment plans are available for those who need to pay in installments.

What Team Fees Cover:

  • Ontario Basketball Club affiliation fee
  • Ontario Basketball Team affiliation fee
  • Insurance
  • Team jersey and shorts
  • Use of GNBA equipment
  • Practice time
  • League and tournament fees

Additional Costs
Extra expenses, such as warm-up jerseys, travel costs, or participation in additional tournaments (as decided by individual teams), may require additional fees.

Registration & Payment Process
Once a player accepts a team offer, they will receive an email with:

  1. A GNBA TeamSnap link to complete their registration and submit payment to the GNBA Club.
  2. A Ontario Basketball RAMP link to register and pay the $30 player membership fee to Ontario Basketball.
